Everything You Wanted to Know About Theatre but Were Afraid to Ask!

*THIS COURSE WILL BE OFFERED AGAIN FALL 2016*

Are you curious about why we do theatre, how we do it, what the roles are, how to get involved, and how to get more out of your experience? Actor, director, and teacher, Gabriel Newman offers this dynamic and fun course at the Caetani Cultural Centre,  which combines lectures on theatre history with practical hands on projects. No experience is necessary.

Gabriel Newman has a BFA in Theatre from UVic and an MFA in Interdisciplinary Performance from UBCO. He works as a sessional theatre instructor at UBCO and Thompson Rivers University. He recently performed in The Inspector General with Okanagan College’s Red Dot Players, and A House at the End of the Road with Inner Fish Productions in Kelowna and Edmonton. He has also been touring and performing his crazy food based sory exchange performance project called Social Potluck. During the summer months and before Halloween he can be seen wandering the streets of Vernon with his Ghost Tours of Vernon.
