‘Build Your Own Online Portfolio’

One Day Workshop with Visiting Artist Wynne Leung

November 25th 10-3pm

Caetani Centre Library

$45.00 Per Student – online registration is closed but there is still some room – please make payment directly to Wynne Leung.

Wynne Leung is a lead product designer and painter from Toronto, Ontario. She currently works in San Francisco, California. She is an avid painter and uses painting as a means of self-expression and understanding. Accessibility, love and compassion matter to her a lot. She hopes that this workshop will be a tool for artists and creators to easily share their beautiful works online with others!

As a class you will learn to create and launch a sample artist website using https://www.weebly.com/. Wynne will supply all of the sample images and content you will need to build the site. Together we will build the following pages:

– Home – Artworks – About Me – Contact – Shop –

Attendees will need to bring a laptop that runs Google or Safari with access to the Internet. There is no cost to using Weebly or to run a basic website. This simple structure will allow everyone to learn the basics of how to build a website; and be able to take the skills they learned to build their own using their own images.

I am fascinated by art making and its’ ability to convey our shared emotions. It has helped me heal and feel more supported by creating space for self-compassion. I continue to create in that space starting with self-expression as a means of art therapy and then gently applying it a bridge to creating more if the moment is available to explore and reflect.

I value community, compassion and freedom of self-expression. My work is autobiographical and inspired by the space, emotions and causes that matter to my heart in the space that I live in.
