'Rabbit in the Moon' was completed in China during Julie's residency at Wherewhere Project Space in Caochangdi District Beijing in April 2014. In China, Moon Rabbit lives on the moon, pounding the elixir of life in a mortar and pestle for his companion, the moon goddess Chang'e. Chang’e protects Moon Rabbit from Dog who tries to eat Moon Rabbit.
