Caetani Centre represented at Community Foundation ‘UnCharitable’ Event

On May 6, the Caetani Centre’s Executive Director, Laisha Rosnau, represented the Caetani Cultural Centre at the UnCharitable screening event, hosted by Purppl and The Community Foundation North Okanagan (CFNO). UnCharitable (dir. Stephen Gyllenhaal) is a documentary that addresses and challenges traditional and limiting views about philanthropy and nonprofit work, suggesting that a more innovative and long-term approach to this kind of work will lead to healthier communities. At the CFNO event, representatives of nonprofit and charity organizations met and mingled with local philanthropists and contributors; together, they viewed the thought-provoking film as well as a short video featuring nonprofits and charities of the North Okanagan speaking to the importance of support and funding.

Not only did Laisha represent the Caetani Centre as a ‘table host’ at this event, but she is also featured in the short video about North Okanagan charities and nonprofits.
