Celebrate the Caetani Splash - Return to Rome fundraiser August 14th
Save the date and join us for the Caetani Centre’s 2025 iconic fundraising event, the Caetani Splash - Return to Rome on Thursday, August 14th, 2025 from 5:30-9:30 PM (gates open at 5:00 PM). This magical evening of art and community takes place on the beautiful grounds of the Caetani Centre. (An alternative indoor venue will be made available in case of smoke or inclement weather.)
This year’s Caetani Splash is a way to support and celebrate the exciting announcement that Sveva’ Caetani’s life and art will be a large-scale feature exhibition at the MAXXI National Museum in Sveva’s birthplace of Rome, Italy this fall: https://www.maxxi.art/en/events/sveva-caetani-forma-e-frammento/.
This will be the first time Sveva’s artwork has been exhibited outside of Canada, and the first time the Recapitulation series will be exhibited in its entirety. This year’s theme, Return to Rome, pays homage to this once-in-a lifetime event and the theme colours will be that of the Italian flag –red, white, and green– and you can interpret that anyway you wish.
As a way to acknowledge our benefactor’s Italian and artistic roots, the Splash will feature:
An Aperol and appies reception
Live entertainment
A sit-down, family-style pasta dinner (with gluten-free and vegetarian options)
A delicious dessert and aperitif toast
Silent art auction
Live art auction
Tickets are $150 per person – or save a bit with a (table of eight or sixteen). Tickets can be purchased at the Caetani Centre during office hours, Tuesdays to Saturday 10 am to 4 pm. Tickets are also available online at Showpass. Click link below.
