Teegan Walshe (she/her) is a climate activist from Vancouver Island. During high school she loved working with her community on grassroots climate action initiatives. After graduating, she decided to take a gap year to work on a collection of stories about climate communication and navigating polarizing conversations.

Next fall she is heading east to study at Queens University where she will learn awesome science things. When she isn’t writing, Teegan enjoys jumping in deep books and shallow puddles. She can be found getting muddy with her pup and listening to records with her people.

Teegan is grateful for the opportunity to stay at the Caetani Centre and wishes future artists headway and healthy doses of hot chocolate.
