The Strange Bazaar’s inaugural Summer Solstice event happens on June 21st at the Caetani Centre grounds (3401 Pleasant Valley Road), and runs from 1-8 PM with free admission.

The bazaar aims to bring something a little different to the Vernon community as a celebration of the odd and unusual, dark, enchanted, and handmade. The vision is to create an old-world bazaar atmosphere and a space for Vernon’s odd, unusual, queer, and witchy makers, similar to the Weirdos Market in Vancouver, which has grown from just one day with five vendors to a two-weekend event hosting over 60 vendors in just a few short years.
